Bio:

Syd Farrington is an artist and filmmaker living and working in London. His work has been shown internationally at International Film Festival Rotterdam, London Short Film Festival and Images, among others. In 2023 He graduated with an MA in Artists’ Film and Moving from Goldsmiths, University of London, after which he was awarded a Junior Fellowship (2023-2024). Working with film, his work explores the physical effect of contemporary capitalism on the changing landscape of London. Often using place and landscape as a starting point, He navigates the interrelation of personal and shared experience, whilst drawing upon the history of cinema and modes of structural filmmaking.
